Monday Moan – Step Right Up!

OK, this isn’t really a ‘moan’ as such as, in my role as editor now I’m going to continue from Kris in selling you the all brand spanking new Electronic Farmyard 2.0 as he continues on with the role of PR and Community manager. So I’m just really going to lay things out on the site and what’s going down with what you can hope to expect in what will pretty much be my vanity card piece from now on.

Monday Moan – No Such Thing as Bad Publicity

I’m going to be more jovial and anecdotal this week as I look at anti-Americanism. Whilst that may not sound the most light-hearted of topics I’ll try and tackle it in such a way that’ll hopefully induce a chortle. I’ll start with when I was about nine/ten and had a love of all things America, especially grunge and Nirvana. It was a magical land where nobody was bullied and all the misfits were around other misfits and everybody was getting picked last for PE.

Monday Moan – With Great Scenes Comes Great Responsibility

Fashions come and go over time as once interesting ideas or original outlooks on life are blended into the mainstream and the once exclusive set who held a tight on said ideas start to piss and moan how it’s all ‘sold out’. We’re always quick to blame marketing and corporations for the incessant branding of our culture but we never look at ourselves and why we allowed this to happen.

Monday Moan – Darling Fascist Bully Boys

I’m going to talk about bullying and, that’s right, bullied kid power-bombing the bully. I realise that I shouldn’t by all accords have any right to speak about it but I really wanted to bang on about the anti-bullying schemes and, after seeing a bully have his ass handed to him as we’re all well aware of the situation by now anyway. After being the playground punching-bag myself I guess I could say this subject ‘hit’ home…

Monday Moan – Here’s Something.

I feel that right now I should be doing something else. Something new and exciting for the greater good of mankind. More to the point though, what are you doing reading this. At least I’m actually doing something, even if it is profoundly pointless, but look at you. Can you just see yourself reading this, savouring every word that I’m saying?

Monday Moan – Conspiracy of One

So, in keeping with the whole ‘ha, ha, isn’t Charlie Sheen nuts’ vibe that’s been suffocating us all with it’s ‘instant hilarity’, (which was funny for five minutes), I’m not going to joyfully revel in some guys drug fuelled self-destruction in order to fill the black pit of despair that is my own life.
