It seems to be a popular target for critics at the moment and I want to make it clear that when this genre is handled correctly it can be an incredibly effective way of getting an audience invested in the events of your film.

If you haven’t heard of it yet it’s a mixture of cream teas and celluloid set within the rural idyll of Dorset. Boasting venues such as The Rex there’s a great variety of locations spread throughout the county.

But this didn’t last for long as clear skies pulled across and the Air Festival was kicked off with the Red Arrows doing what they do best with an amazing aerial display to wow the crowds.
